Career Counselling is the process of guiding individuals toward the right career path. Through Career Counselling, a student can overcome the uncertainties around their career, the lack of knowledge on different career options, and any disagreement with their parents and come closer to fulfilling their dreams. Helping students select the right career option by analysing their interests, abilities, values, personality, background, and circumstances.
Currently, our government requires at least one career counsellor in every school. India needs more than 1.5 million career counsellors to cater to 315 million students. Therefore, every child who goes to school requires a career guidance counsellor. If children want a break from conventional career options and want to create their own lives by not following traditional education, they must consult a career guidance specialist. They can learn a lot more about themselves and make more informed decisions about their careers with the help of career counselling. In short, students who cannot identify their strengths, weaknesses, likes, dislikes, and capabilities are confused about which career to choose to require career counselling.
